Description
This workshop identifies two parts, or selves, of an individual: the wise self that knows how to be empathic, loving and supportive, and the emotional self that sometimes needs this kind of support. We look at the triggers and responses of the emotional self, and how it’s related to the impostor syndrome. Identifying the patterns of the emotional self allows participants to be able to catch it before it’s not too late to address it.
The last part of the workshop is a visualization exercise where the participant imagine there wise self being there for their emotional self at the time when it needed it, in the past, in the present and in the future.
